Arthritis Knee Pain Centers Hiring for Pharmacy Technician at Remote Full Time

Overview:
Arthritis Knee Pain Centers is a leading provider of non-surgical treatments for osteoarthritis of the knee. We are looking for a qualified and experienced remote pharmacy technician to join our team and help us deliver high-quality services to our patients.

As a remote pharmacy technician, you will be responsible for processing, verifying, and filling prescriptions for our patients, as well as providing customer service and support to our pharmacists, providers, and clinics. You will also assist with prior authorization requests, insurance claims, inventory management, and quality assurance. You will work from home using our secure online platform and communicate with our staff and customers via phone, email, or chat.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

· Receiving prescription requests: This involves processing prescriptions electronically or manually, and ensuring all information is complete and accurate. It also involves verifying the validity of prescriptions and checking for potential drug interactions or allergies.
· Inventory management – proficient in inventory management including ordering & receiving processes, inventory freshness; proficient with return to stocks and cycle counting
· Providing customer service and support: This involves greeting customers and answering their questions, as well as providing them with information and instructions on how to use their medications. It also involves communicating with pharmacists, providers, and other health care professionals to resolve issues or provide feedback.
· Undertaking administrative tasks: This involves maintaining patient records, handling referrals and authorizations, complying with laws and regulations, and performing quality assurance checks.

To be successful as a remote pharmacy technician, you should have:

A high school diploma or equivalent
A current pharmacy technician license or certification in your state of residence
A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a specialty or mail-order setting
Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $237.24 – $365.28 per day
