We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Analyst with at least 3+ years of relevant experience to join our Canadian Operations team. The successful candidate will have experience with analysis, planning, development, execution and reporting of software test plans to ensure agreed upon quality standards. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and capable of coordinating multiple tasks concurrently. Ideally, you work in healthcare and have a background in Quality Assurance in the healthcare market.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the team to develop, review and generate design history file documents: test plans, requirements, risk matrix, traceability matrix etc.
Coordinate and execute test plan activities
Participate in defect review and assessment activities
Provide guidance and assistance with testing
Reproduce customer issues in test environments and document steps
Work closely with the development team to understand new features and design a suitable test plan
Identify, record, document and track bugs
Authorities for Position:
Responsible for quality assurance functions with adherence to QMS requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience
3+ years of relevant experience
Understanding of Risk Analysis and Risk-based testing
Test Case Management
Test Plan Development
Understanding of different types of testing methodologies
Demonstrated experience working in an agile development environment to release high quality software on a frequent basis
Effective time management, working with different teams, testing all aspects of a product
Independent reasoning and critical thinking skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
Experience working in Medical Device, Healthcare, or other highly regulated industries is a plus
