Job Title : Logistics Analyst IV

Contract Duration : 6+ months

Schedule Notes :

Required to work in a hybrid onsite capacity (Tues, Wed, Thurs) in Austin. Candidate should be prepared for the possibility of OT.

Notes : Carrier Vendor Management (UPS, Fedex, etc.)

This team is responsible for managing the performance (ex : speed) and quality of these relationships.

They also help to drive strategy (cost savings, sustainability goals, delivery speed reduction, etc.)

Scope of work is both tactical and strategic. 50% of the day is structed with similar tasks such as metrics (loss and damage metrics, delivery metrics, quality metrics, signals against shipments) and 50% of the day is un-structured (escalations, start and stop project work, enabling carriers to move to new locations, how to answer questions that have never been seen before).

Candidate must have strong experience in Excel and Tableau.

Need to be able to build tableau data sets and standards in dashboards.

Must be able to understand supply chain milestones. Must understand forecasting and capacity planning.

The candidate does not need to have a carrier logistics background. They can have experience with supply chain operations.

They must be very analytical to connect the dots and support action plans from data, but they also need to be an excellent communicator who can effectively deliver messaging to internal stakeholders and external carriers.

Must be a self starter who can quickly ramp up.

Job Description (including duties, skills, education) :

Experience in world-class logistics operations with emphasis on vendor, 3PL, or service provider management

Proven ability to lead continuous improvement projects and strong track record of customer service

Ability to work in dynamic, cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment while demonstrating strong work ethic and a high degree of flexibility

Oversight of supplier relationship and performance in support of Logistics and Distribution

Identify areas for process improvement and innovation;

Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions

Prioritize and multi-task effectively to provide strategic and tactical support for projects, including capital planning

Monitor key performance indicators, drive performance, and expense management

Evaluate existing capabilities and establish new systems and processes for tracking, measurement, ing, and analysis of Logistics Ops

Collaborate with partners as a representative of logistics, and provide updates to leadership : Inventory, distribution, freight, cycle time, etc.
