Reno Talent Acquisition Business Partner

We are hiring for an exciting Reno Talent Acquisition Business Partner to effectively partner with hiring managers, develop and execute recruiting strategies, and support business objectives for Supply Chain hiring, specifically in our Reno Primary Distribution Center (PDC). This role will be responsible for working with leadership to create and execute community outreach plans in association with talent acquisition initiatives. This role will also own the recruitment process (kickoff calls, job posting, candidate interviews and assessments, and hiring) for both exempt-level and high-volume hourly positions primarily supporting our Reno, NV efforts. The ideal candidate is driven, innovative, organized, and can engage talent to meet the production goals required to be successful in a high-volume hiring setting. The person in this role will have exceptional relationship building and customer service skills, with strong attention to detail and resolve.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop strategies and manage programs around community outreach in association with talent acquisition initiatives, specifically within the Reno PDC population.
Conduct thorough kickoff calls with hiring managers to ensure an understanding of the recruiting needs and job requirements and advise on most appropriate action to take to deliver results.
Own the management and accuracy of assigned requisitions and manage the candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) database (Workday) and the inflow of candidate resumes.
Communicate with hiring managers regularly regarding the status of candidates, as well as facilitate ongoing professional communication with all stakeholders involved in the recruiting process.
Screen applications, conduct behavioral based interviews, assess and select the most appropriate candidates to present to the hiring manager based on required skill sets, qualifications and competency requirements.
Partner with the hiring team on candidate selection, act as an ongoing candidate relationship manager and provide ongoing value-added recruitment advice to the hiring manager.
Identify what is most important to the hiring manager and identify top talent that matches what the hiring manager is looking for to move forward in the process.
Identify if the job posting and/or what the hiring manager is looking for in a candidate is not reflective of the job description that has been created for the position. If that happens, have the right conversations to correct the job description or posting.
Consult and support the development and deployment of Employer Brand, Social Media, and community outreach related to talent acquisition.
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years of talent acquisition and/or HR specific experience in a corporate setting or agency/search firm.
Positive, professional, team player who thrives in a collaborative work environment with exceptional relationship building and customer service skills.
Proven ability to proactively drive exempt and hourly recruiting processes by engaging with hiring managers and market talent.
Advise and coach hiring managers; having difficult conversations when necessary to keep the recruiting process compliant and effective.
Affinity for data analysis and the crucial role it plays in guiding success and delivering results. Minimally, an intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office and the ability to apply learnings using those applications.
Exemplary organizational and time management skills (plans activities and manages resources).
Action-oriented with strong attention to detail and a sense of resolve.

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
