Arrow is seeking an Enterprise Architect who will join our Global Components division in Centennial, CO.

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years of development experience with large-scale complex system software systems (e.g. Public or Private Cloud systems, highly scalable Web Application development, application servers and frameworks, operating systems, or Cloud Analytic services, etc.)
• 5 to 10+ years of experience in multi-threaded design and programming in Java/J2EE, including UI design, concurrency control, HTTP and HTTPs, and HTML, etc.
• Working knowledge of frontend web technologies including: Angular.js, Angular2, Angular4 – Angular7, HTML, CSS, Ext JS and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of UI design concepts. Familiar with authentication, access control, accessibility, UML, common Java/UI modeling practices.
• Exposure to 3-tier application architecture, and insights on applications and components that integrate with J2EE based middleware systems, application development frameworks, and identity management systems.
• In-depth understanding and experience in system/product design towards strong security, extreme performance and scalability, high availability and manageability.
• Experience in defining & implementing roadmap for platform modernization such as application migrations across different application servers (e.g. Oracle application server to WebLogic/Tomcat) and upgrade of UI JavaScript frameworks (such as Ext JS & Angular)
• Experience in implementing Productivity and Quality Improvement tools such as Maven, JMeter, Selenium, PMD, FindBug, Jenkins etc.
• Solid understanding of one or more major relational database systems (such as Oracle, SQL Server), including database design, administration, configuration, tuning, database access APIs, SQL, stored procedures, and major security features. Familiarity with application security and middleware security technologies.
• Able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly, be a strong team player, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer demands.

Job duties:

• Develop and present multiple solutions/approaches to solve enterprise architecture issues.
• Triage application performance, scalability and security issues and enhance application architecture to mitigate these issues.
• Responsible for enterprise technical architecture including application, security, information and infrastructure platforms and standards.
• Coordinate with various lines of business, supporting staff and technology areas to evaluate and select technologies and platforms, define enterprise guiding principles, review delivered architectures, and act as architect for large programs
• Deliver software development, data management, security, systems and networking responsibilities at a quick pace and providing guidance to other developers to help them overcome obstacles that are preventing their development efforts
• Flexibility and adaptable to working with a 24×7 Global operation
• Understands the business problems, needs, or opportunities and designs a virtualized solution that completely and correctly addresses the business problem, need, or opportunity.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$135,000.00 – $165,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
