Arpeoh Hiring for Heavy Equipment Operator at Yakima, WA Full Time

Established civil construction company, with over 20 million in backlog of projects is looking to add Heavy Operator for Highway and Development Construction Team. The Operator will be an essential crew member for various aspects of the construction process for multiple projects.

Competitive hourly rate between $25.00 – $30.00 an hour. Comprehensive benefits include health, dental, vision, chiropractic, massage, acupuncture services after 60 days, including 401k with company match.

Day-to-Day:

• Operate heavy equipment to move construction materials, earth, and rock on heavy-civil construction sites.
• Perform daily pre-operation/inspection checks and complete daily inspection s.
• Identify and malfunctioning equipment/components and safety defects to the supervisor.
• Complete tasks, assignments, and activities given, coordinate machine actions.
• Move levers, push pedals, rotate steering wheels, turn valves to activate hydraulic lines powering booms, sticks, cylinders and heavy equipment implements.

Post Requirements:

• At least a year of experience operating heavy equipment, taking direction and safely operator equipment in compliance with company policy and procedures
• Related experience maneuvering heavy equipment in remote locations, variety of terrain, and ground conditions, tight spaces and around light or high volume traffic areas.
• Ability and willingness to complete background checks and drug testing requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a field environment with inclement weather, extreme heat, dust, and noise.
• Must be able to carry handheld measurement equipment weighing up to 15 lbs. and lift equipment cases and accessories weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work extended hours and a typical 6-day work week.
