Indeed: Bookkeeper Position

We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records. This position involves working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports in association with legal requirements for in-house, state, and federal compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Process Bank/Credit Card Reconciliations
• Maintain accuracy of the General Ledger
• Process Payroll
• Maintain accuracy of Commission Payments
• Process Sales Tax
• Assist in preparing books for Accounting Department
• Maintain records and create reports and financial statements

Skills

• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Proven ability to calculate and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
