ARMIL CFS Hiring for Electrical Controls Engineer Full Time

General Summary

Responsibilities may include overall control system design and engineering, generation of schematic and panel layout drawings, logic and process controller programming, operator interface application programming, user manual development, and participation in final system testing and commissioning. 5% travel. This position will to the Electrical Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with other engineering disciplines through the design and engineering phase to ensure all machine functions requiring controls integration are accommodated. Good oral and written communication skills are important.
2. Design system schematic diagrams and panel layout drawings in AutoCAD Electrical.
3. Create and troubleshoot PLC code – typically within the Allen-Bradley realm.
4. Develop HMI interfaces on platforms such as FactoryTalk, InduSoft, Ignition, and C-more operator interface panels.
5. Compose operator/user manuals for completed systems.
6. Assist with hardware and software troubleshooting during initial startup and/or final system commissioning when required.
7. Provide customers with system support using good oral and written communications, remote system diagnosis via VPN, and in some cases an on-site visit.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
