Responsibilities

· Plan, implement and supervise the company’s financial strategy

· Manage the company’s financial accounts, payrolls, budget, cash receipts and financial assets

· Handle the company’s transactions and debts and perform cash flow forecasting

· Perform the company’s financial audits

· Follow proper accounting procedures to reach financial objectives

· Monitor and analyze financial accounting data

· Prepare, create, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

· Make recommendations to business stakeholders

· Supervise and/or manager general ledger accounting functions

· Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including to but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxes, and general ledger

· Develop and train staff by setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

· Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports and/ or statements

· Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles

· Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit (s) and the annual corporate financial controls audit

· Cash receipts

· Revenue and expenditure variance analysis

· Capital assets reconciliation

· Fixed asset activity and debt activity

Requirement Skills/ Abilities

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills

· Excellent knowledge with database and accounting computer application systems

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance field

· 3-4 years of financial management/accounting/finance experience required
