Salary : $15 per hr

ARL Logistics is seeking a Data Analysis Intern for the summer. The intern will learn about all aspects of the business including, operations, carrier relations, inside sales, and customer service under the business analytics scope.

The purpose of the internship is to give students a chance to see how data analytics can guide decision-making in the transportation industry.

The summer internship is 40 hours per week Monday through Friday.

Daily Job Duties Include :

• Data Cleaning such as identifying and handling missing data and removing duplicate records
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) through generating summary statistics (mean, median, mode, etc), creating visualizations to understand data distributions and to tell a story with data (histograms, scatter plots, box plots), and identifying outliers and anomalies in the data
• Data Manipulation through transforming and reshaping data to understand variables and influence decision-making
• Data Extractions through creating s in TAI
• Running bulk RFPs and RFQs through our pricing tools and Rate Engines

As this is an internship, there is only a short list of requirements.

• Enrolled in college as a Junior or higher
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with a data visualization tool
• Entrepreneurial spirit and success-driven attitude
