ARK Systems Electric Corp Hiring for Junior Electrical Engineer / Electrical CAD Designer Full Time

The ideal candidate will be responsible the development in the design, drafting and engineering for in house projects. Including but not limited to project coordination with various trades, creation and development of 2D and 3D shop drawing packages, and submission of RFI’s, drawing review, and collaboration with field staff.

In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project documentation.
• Design and draft electrical coordination drawings for review and integration into 3D Model. Ability to complete As-Builts upon completion of projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings upon completion of coordination.
• Document Control
• Prepare project submission schedule and manage deadlines.
• Assist with plan review.
• Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering at a minimum
• 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical Systems Design for a Contractor preferred however not necessary
• Strong organizational and computer skills
• Strong use and knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks
• MS Office proficient. Experience with Blue Beam.
• OSHA 30

Pay: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
