Arival Bank Hiring for Senior Accountant Job at Remote Full Time

Arival Bank International Corp. is a US-based digital bank licensed and regulated by OCIF. After obtaining our US-based banking license at the beginning of 2021, we officially went live in June 2021 and have onboarded 300+ customers from over 35+ countries. Equipped with forward-thinking compliance, Arival is on a mission to become the go-to digital bank for online businesses, freelancers, and crypto-related businesses all over the world. We’re actively growing our international team with offices in Miami, Puerto Rico, Europe, and Singapore, with over 50+ employees, and building many departments from the ground up.

EVERYDAY TASKS:

• Supporting month-end and year-end close process
• Forecast preparation and analysis of the financial statements
• Supporting year-end financial statement audit
• Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles, including guidance related to lease accounting and revenue recognition
• Maintaining and reconciling various accounting schedules, including fixed assets and prepaid accounts
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
• Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses as requested
• Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
• Assisting with tax audits and year-end tax returns
• Performing HR, Payroll, Procurement, and other Office Administrative tasks

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 2-3 years of relevant Accounting experience in banking
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Look-ups)
• In-depth understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Experience in the startup environment is a huge plus
• Ability to work fast, multi-task, and think on your feet in high-pressure and fast-paced situations

Pay: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
