Argee Recruit Looking for Senior Engineer at NW10, Harlesden, Greater London Full Time

Senior Engineer, RC frames. 21-24 months programme, multi-storey residential blocks to 22 floors. Self-motivated, good communication. NW10. £300-310 self-employed. To work closely with PM.   Technically sound, good at interrogating drawings and schedules to ascertain missing details, good at paperwork/record keeping.

Project overview:

• Bulk excavation, associated enabling works
• Temporary Works
• Foundations and underpinning of adjoining structures
• Deep drainage
• RC basements with waterproofing elements
• Formwork
• PT concrete
• Reinforced concrete structures (the bulk of the work)
• Low tolerance power float work
• Multi storey 11 to 22 floors on multiple blocks

Senior Engineer duties include working with the Project Manager and taking responsibility for overseeing the team of 5 site engineers, checking setting out on site, raising RFI’s to resolve drawing queries and providing the information to the Engineers, Foremen, and site staff. You must be capable of providing information accurately and effectively to keep the work flowing. Groundworks & RC frame experience is essential, PT knowledge is advantageous.

Qualified to Degree level in Civil Engineering, you will have worked for at least 3-5 years for an established RC contractor. You must be fully aware of Health & Safety requirements as well as having a good technical knowledge and clear communication skills, both written and oral, with good IT skills and an understanding of AutoCAD

The Company currently has multiple multi-storey RC frame developments on the ground and a good order book ahead. Drawing from 50 years plus London construction experience, strong back-up and in-house plant and equipment they can plan, cost, and build effectively.

Shift basis @ £300 – £310 self-employed. Negotiable based on your skills, and experience to date. Applications will only be considered from those currently legally entitled to live / work in the UK.
