Broad Responsibilities

The recruiter is responsible for recruiting entry level positions for operations as well as management positions for the MSP Airport. This position is also responsible for facilitating their on-boarding training over the first 90 days of employment. Additionally, support operations team in sourcing and orientations as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:

• Tactics – Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
• Planning – Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
• Community Sourcing – Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.
• Events – Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.
• Screening – Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants. Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.
• Onboarding –Conducts reference and background checks. Assists with the airport badging process.
• Reports – Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring and statistics.
• Pipeline – Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.
• Documentation – Maintains records on recruiting activities as required

Skills and Qualifications

• Education – Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience – 3- 5 years operations experience
• Multi tasking – Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Structure – Organized with attention to detail.
• Communication – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Systems – Computer proficiency: Word and Excel. Experience in different ATS preferred.
