Ardingly College Hiring for HR Assistant at Haywards Heath Full Time

Ardingly College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual to join the Human Resources Team. This role will be reporting to the Director of People, and work with the HR Team in the provision of effective HR management at Ardingly College.
Key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

• Assist the HR Admin Assistant in ensuring all employee data and personnel files are secure, accurate, up-to date and fully compliant with all relevant legislation.

• To support the Recruitment Team and advertisement of posts

• Produce general HR correspondence as required.

• To support the HR Admin Assistant in compiling the monthly absence report and advising payroll of any pay issues. Monitor any long-term absence cases and support individuals as necessary.

• Work with the HR Systems Coordinator and HR Admin Assistant to maintain records on CIPHR

• To provide day to day support for the HR and Compliance Manager undertaking sickness review meetings, Inductions, investigatory meetings etc.

• Act as first point of contact on routine staff policy, procedures and specific advice i.e. pay enquiries.

• To deliver ad-hoc requests as agreed with the HR and Compliance Manager and Director of People.

The successful candidate will ideally have 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy HR department and hold or be working towards a CIPD qualification. Previous experience of using CIPHR would be advantageous. Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills are essential as is the ability to forge effective working relationships across the College.
