OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this request is to ensure that National Telecommunication and Information Administration (NTIA), Office of Policy Coordination Management (OPCM) receives the necessary HR resources to assist in daily human resource activities. NTIA is looking for someone to perform personnel action reports (PAR) and processing for a myriad of purposes in the overall management of Departmental employees, including talent acquisition support, onboarding support, presentations, training, and related activities.

LABOR CATEGORY REQUIREMENT:

Requires 7 years’ on-the-job experience in the human resources field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Applying human resources staffing and recruitment principles, practices, laws, and regulations.
• Providing advice on position classification principles.
• Processing personnel actions.
• Using human resources systems.
• Preparing and present reports and briefings on assigned organization status and/or recommended actions to appropriate individuals.

EDUCATION:

• Requires High School Diploma or Equivalent

ATTIRE:

• Business Casual

LOCATION/HOURS OF OPERATION:

• Onsite support
• Place of Performance: Department of Commerce, Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB) 1401 Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, D.C.
• Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7am – 6pm. Federal holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings are exempt.
