Arctic Winter Adventures Hiring for Cook at Fairbanks, Alaska Full Time

Arctic Winter Adventures is renting its property to a mining outfit this summer. The mining outfit consists of 10-15 employees who need to be fed twice a day (morning and evening) but will take a lunch bag with them out to the field, where they spend most of their day. 

The most important meal of the day will be dinner, when the workers come back from their field work, tired and hungry. You will start your morning early but if you are efficient, you will have most of the day to yourselves before you start back up for dinner service. 

We are putting up a spacious cooking facility so you will have a big kitchen to work in. You will be working 6 days on, 1 day off. A cabin and a vehicle will be available to you for 3-4 days per week. 

Pay will be $4000/month with meals included. 

With good time management, you will be able to enjoy the surrounding areas. There is good hiking close by, amazing berry picking and a short drive with a car to various lakes and small rivers. 

This is the second year me and the mining company are working together and I’m excited to have them back. They are very friendly and respective folks with good manners and healthy appetites. Most of them stay there during the summer and they often can be found playing games outside during the months of the midnight sun.
