As People & Culture Generalist, you provide support in all aspects of People & Culture (P&C), partnering with the entire P&C department to build a platform for our people to perform at their best. You are the face of P&C Services to our employees and people leaders. Through strong relationship building, you identify gaps in P&C practices and constantly seek ways to evolve people practices across the organization that leads to contributes to a great employee experience.

You will work with a dedicated local P&C team at ARC’One which brings company-wide initiatives to reality and takes care of all aspects of P&C for the dedicated manufacturing and distribution employees.

If you were the People & Culture Generalist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
Relentlessly focused on building capability, capacity, skills, and abilities in our people
Listen, educate and empower employees and people leaders, always seeking out ways to enable each person to grow, learn and develop to perform at their best
In collaboration with the P&C team, review, maintain and improve our employment practices and processes within the facility to increase quality support, decrease turnaround times, and improve our accuracy and deliver great employment experiences and great long term business results
Manage employee relations issues with the goal of solving the root cause of problems identified and you foster a positive work environment for a great employee experience
Listen to, support and empower people leaders with performance management processes
In collaboration with the P&C and the ARC’One leadership team, ensure clear communication strategies and methodologies are utilized for all events, activities and initiatives
Actively participate in Occupational Health and Safety programs, including but not limited to incident tracking and investigations, Joint Health and Safety committee meetings, WorkSafe engagements, tracking leaves, and coordinating employees’ return to work
In collaboration with the P&C team, develop, review and maintain an up to date and robust set of policies that provide clear guidelines to employees and people leaders
Collect, maintain, update and create reports from our HRIS Workday and other data storage and analysis mechanisms
Jump at the opportunity to lead the planning, coordination and execution of a variety of projects and events throughout the year, including supporting our other locations and teams as necessary

Work on projects that have strategic impact on the entire facility and collaborate with bigger P&C team on cross functional projects
Support key leaders and stakeholders to ARC’One to bring their objectives to reality through creative solution, coaching and business partnering
Influence change in key business processes and points of decision through curiosity and partnership
Are you our next People & Culture Generalist?
You have a degree in Business Administration or Human Resources Management and 3+ years of experience in a P&C role that often interacts with manufacturing and/or warehouse employees; or equivalent education and experience
You have strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat, positive and approachable personality, and a desire and ability to build strong relationships through open and honest conversations, keen observations and a customer-service focused mentality
You have the ability and experience to empower employees and leaders through deep listening and partnership building
You are energized by constant interactions with people from different backgrounds who have different characters
You have working knowledge of human resources functions and procedures, including but not limited to talent development, performance management, policy development and occupational health and safety
You have an excellent command of the English language and strong verbal and written communication/presentation skills
You have the ability to exercise good judgment and operate as an ambassador of the company (leading by example)
You have the ability to maintain confidentiality and deal appropriately with sensitive issues
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions with breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
You are able to balance autonomy and collaboration
Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
Assets:
Your have ability to speak a second language especially Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Farsi or Arabic
