The Receiver ensures all inventory is received, organized and readily available. The Receiver is to complete all receiving related duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage incoming material and follow receiving procedures:
• Inspect and sign off on all newly arrived material by referencing the corresponding purchase order and packing slip – daily.
• Collect and manage all packing slips – daily.
• Receive material by creating item receipts in system – daily.
• Investigate backorders and receiving discrepancies – daily.
• Responsible for unloading material from delivery trucks – daily.
• Determine appropriate destination for material and put away in a timely manner – daily.
• Administer the Material Handling / Inventory Management System by correctly coding and loading material, as well as labeling material as required (as per receiving procedure) – daily.
• Maintain inventory management system by electronically tracking material as it arrives

• Maintain and organize all incoming and existing inventory:
• Maintain material organization on all incoming materials- daily.
• Space and Capacity planning – run report for next day’s incoming materials – daily.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Liaise with the Inventory Controller To Efficiently Store Materials ensure that required material especially rush orders are highlighted

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 2 – 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment
• Organization and planning skills
• Time management skills
• Beginner knowledge of ERP receiving
• MS Office experience required

EDUCATION:

• High school Diploma (or equivalent)
• Forklift license
