About the Role:

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Clinical Educator / Learning & Development Trainer who is a Registered Nurse to support our team in achieving their full potential. As a Clinical Educator it is expected that you will actively foster a culture where employees feel supported to prioritise the development of open and respectful relationships with residents and families – regardless of their job title – and that you model, promote and reward learning in everyday interactions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Development, delivery and assessment of clinical education
• Providing support to the orientation of new employees
• Providing support and mentoring to staff working within our residences
• Develop a Regional Education Calendar
• Support the Residences Annual Education Calendar

To be successful in the role you must possess the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines and Regulation
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Extensive experience in a customer service
• Previous experience in workplace training
• Understanding of Adult Learning Principles
• Good understanding of continuous improvement, OH&S and risk management
• Current AHPRA Registration
• More than 2 years’ experience (Aged Care experience is preferred)
• Current National Police Record Check (not more than 2.5 years from date of issue)
• Current NDIS card or willingness to obtain
• Fully approved Covid-19 vaccination certificate
