Arcadis is looking for a Global Technology Team Director – People / HCM / HRIS Platforms based in Europe, India, North America, Philippines, or any of our global locations.
As a Global Technology Team Director – People / HCM / HRIS Platforms , you will work directly with the Business Process Manager for Human Capital Management (HCM), global and regional HCM Business Process Owners, and your peers within the Technology team to optimize the global HRIS application landscape, as well as harmonize the applications and automation of business processes. You will be responsible for leading and managing the application service delivery of the People / HCM / HRIS function. You will liaise with the key business stakeholders to optimize the application usage and search for continuous improvement using the latest technologies.

You are a collaborative leader and have the ability to lead your team to deliver beyond expectations.
You possess excellent application knowledge in the People / HCM / HRIS domain, preferably in Oracle Cloud HCM modules (e.g. Recruitment, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, HR Help Desk, Time and Labor, Absence and Payroll).
You can translate business challenges into workable application designs and have the capability to be hands-on with both functional and technical knowledge.
You have a strong track record in managing teams and/or projects and delivering Cloud solutions, preferably applying Agile delivery methods.
You are curious. You stay on top of new developments in your domain and you adapt well to change.
You possess a sense of intellectual curiosity and a burning desire to learn.
You enjoy managing collaborative Agile teams and are ready to take on new and unexpected challenges while further optimizing the application landscape.
What you’ll own : (Core Responsibilities)
Leading and owning the People / HCM / HRIS technology stack with responsibility for technical solutioning and end-to-end delivery working toward achieving maximum business productivity and efficiency.
Managing the application portfolio in the People / HCM / HRIS domain, focusing on globalization and harmonization of the People / HCM / HRIS application landscape, including a strong focus on using technology to automate manual business processes.
Collaborating with senior level stakeholders and representing the Arcadis Technology team to progress the digital People / HCM / HRIS agenda.
Working with technology partners, such as systems integrators, managed services providers, consultants and vendors to deliver technical solutions within schedule and budget.
Accelerating the performance of your team and contributing to their professional growth.
Translating technology trends into scalable solutions for the People / HCM / HRIS domain.
Collaborating with our application vendors and managing their services based on the agreed SLAs.
The ideal candidate has :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, HR or equivalent work experience and practical knowledge.
10+ years of professional experience as People / HCM / HRIS application functional or technical SME, or a similar role.
A demonstrated track record of achieving service excellence.
A background of successfully managing high-performing teams and delivering end-to-end scalable solutions using diverse methodologies.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences in an easily-understood, assertive, and actionable manner.
Ability to work effectively with a culturally diverse and global population.
A creative, proactive, collaborative and solution-focused attitude with a high level of internal drive and professional accountability.
3 to 5 years of hands-on software development and Oracle HCM configuration.
Experience in building and deploying software solutions by leveraging DevOps, CI/CD and Cloud Engineering.
Experience with automated testing of business processes.
Understanding of Cloud platforms and how they integrate with an HRIS solution.
Professional certifications: project management, scrum master, SAFe, ITIL
Willing to travel up 25% (post pandemic recovery).
Ability to lead cross functional team(s).
Ability to work closely with C-Suite executives and their direct staff.
Analytical thinker — understanding the situation or problem by interpreting the data; using your insights to translate this into the next step in optimizing the services and anticipating future needs.
Experience with platform and application architecture and infrastructure.
Experience working under pressure and meeting/exceeding targets.
