Arbutus Cleaners Hiring for Seamstress – Customer Service at Surrey, BC Full Time

We are looking for a seamstress with experience in alterations and customer service.

The Alterations and Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing professional customer service to our dry cleaning and alteration customers. They specifically provide detailed information about our alterations and dry cleaning services, respond to customer inquiries and complete the alterations required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Greet and treat all customers with respect.
• Fit garments on customers to determine required alterations.
• Ability to do all alterations, zippers, hems etc. Customer service
• Assist with preparing garments for alterations (marking, opening seams, etc.)
• Alter the garments based on customer’s request
• Press, steam, and spot clean garments/merchandise as necessary.
• Follow quality control guidelines and inspect all garments altered/steamed/pressed to verify pristine condition before final delivery to customer.

Job Specifications: (Knowledge, skills and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job.)

• Alteration / sewing experience is required.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to all customers.
• Willingness to support all efforts to build a customer-centric culture in the store.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, while maintaining an emphasis on servicing the customer.
• Ability to communicate effectively with store staff and customers.
• Ability to read and process product information.

– Ability to speak, read and write English – High School Diploma

– One year customer service and alteration experience required

Salary: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
