Arborjet, a leader in the development, manufacture and distribution of revolutionary plant health care solutions is searching for a versatile and creative individual to run their manufacturing operations in Woburn Massachusetts.This position s to the President.
The Operations Manager (OM) is accountable for a aspects of Arborjet manufacturing operations. The (OM) is responsible for following, maintaining and supporting the operations activities within the ISO9001 program. Operational responsibilities also include but not limited to the forecasting and procurement of all inputs and management of all production activities related to the production of Arborjet products , including the supervision of the staff necessary to carry out these activities. The (OM) will also provide input and support for operational activities related to Marketing, sales and product development, including the serving as the lead on Arborjets cross functional product development team. The (OM) will also be responsible for the caring of facilities and grounds as they relate to the operation of the business and provide assistance to the research team for projects related to the care of their grounds.
The (OM) is expected to provide Inspired leadership for the operations team and promote the company culture that encourages top performance. The (OM) will Develop, maintain, and follow the operations activities within the ISO9001 program, and assist with the development and implementation of company policies. You will also ensure all legal and regulatory policies are followed and in compliance as they relate to production and building operations.
This position requires:
· A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, operations, business or a related field
· Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products
· A thorough understanding and use of industry software for the purpose of procurement, forecating scheduling production, shipping, receiving, and storing of finished goods.
· An understanding of lean manufacturing techniques
· A Strong attention to detail and desire to learn new skills; A hunger for knowledge and proactive in seeking solutions to challenges
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
· An ability to multitask and work effectively and independently in fast-paced environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
