Arbor Biotechnologies Inc Hiring for IT Operations Manager at Cambridge, Massachusetts Full Time

Job DescriptionThe IT Operations Manager will be accountable for new employee computer stocking, setup, and training. In particular, expertise and training in Microsoft365 platforms is extremely important. The candidate should be on site to address daily questions regarding software, computers, printers, monitors, and audio visual equipment. The manager will be accountable for understanding and updating all IT licenses and is the primary contact with IT consultants and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively manage day-to-day IT issues and operations with emphasis on quick response times and seeking improved solutions to our current systems
• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, solutions, networks, printers and scanners
• Demonstrative proficiency in Microsoft 365 with expertise in Sharepoint
• Monitoring and maintaining internet connectivity, technical software and hardware solutions onsite; including but not limited to Zoom Rooms, VPN and Slack
• Work with a third party, offsite IT solutions company to communicate with the Arbor team
• Obtain quotes and generate POs to order new and replacement IT equipment
• Accountable for IT licenses, granting permissions, and ensuring contracts are updated and consolidated
• Proficiency with Apple and Lenovo products
• Provide guidance, assistance and follow-up on team questions, problems and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5-6 years of experience in computer science or information technology, degree preferred
• Experience with Biotechnologies field and related data security systems
• Attention to detail and strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Linux, LIMS, ELN and bid data integration
• Desire to develop and maintain company intranet site
• Ability to work with a team in collaborative and fast paced environment
