(External) What You Need:A successful IT Project Manager will be self-motivated, loves being organized, rallying the troops for a successful project, and is highly effective in their communications – both offlineand online. Minimum qualifications

• Multiple successful global system implementations and product launches under your belt
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle many project details at once
• Jumps in to do all levels of work, and do whatever is necessary to ensure success

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in both Waterfall and Agile software development (Scrum)
• Scrum Master Certification and/or PMP with 5-10 years of successful management and solution delivery of cross-functional projects and programs
• Strong professional experience in Agile methodology and successful Agile techniques like User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration
• Ability to apply waterfall methodology as necessary to miscellaneous, business-related projects
• Strong project management tool experience with Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint
• Experience working in a distributed workforce and supporting clients/partners in other countries/time zones with the ability to deliver on commitments promptly and within quality standards
• Ability to manage a portfolio of diverse projects, as necessary
• Strong understanding of incremental delivery and the value of metrics
• Experience collaborating closely with product, engineering, and UX teams
• Experience managing external vendors to successfully deliver projects
• Proven experience and passion for building great products
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field

Example

• Working with other IT Project Portfolio Managers, Scrum Masters, and Project Leads to help collectively manage Arbonne IT’s Project Portfolio
• Independently overseeing programs, and/or multiple projects, varying in size and complexity, leveraging either Agile or SDLC/Waterfall methodolgies
• Managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects
• Strong preparation and facilitation in meetings including clear and aligned objectives and agendas with stakeholders, coordination of schedules and pre-work, effective meeting facilitation, documenting meeting minutes, following-up on action items; gathering, organizing and distributing project related documentation
• Delivering project/program objectives on-time, with quality, within scope. Overseeing and providing regular status reporting on Scope, Risk, Schedule Management and Mapping to assure implementation of approved product/project
• Managing the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and review vendor deliverables, working vendor relationship owners
• Facilitating, coordinating and leading cross-functional teams to complete the technical program and/or project plans, tasks and milestones; Communicate with other teams to work through issues of architecture and technical dependence required for committed initiatives
• Managing action plans for customer impacted issues requiring quick engineering response
• Developing a deep knowledge of all aspects of the project, define priorities and effectively manage the planning, execution, and monitoring to a successful conclusion
