Aramark Hiring for Logistics Assistant at Lafayette, LA Full Time

Job Description

The Logistics Assistant will be ing the Logistics Manager to support our offshore Operations Team by mobilizing offshore crew. Ideally you will have had experience as a Logistics Coordinator, however this is not essential as full training and development can be provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily review of crew requirements covering off short term requirements and forward planning to cater for all holiday, long term leave, fluctuations in manning requirements etc.
• Manage and support all systems from Centic App / MyWorklife HR Database / Excel and Smartsheet tracking documents.
• Action all calls to note all absence / provide cover and update HR / Payroll.
• Provide support to Operations Mangers on daily requirements.
• Interface with Client representatives to obtain flight information.
• Support on-call out of hours service on a rotational basis.
• Support training requirements working with a variety of vendors.
• Driving to/from heliport/dock locations to run occasional crew changes
• Limited travel for meetings/events

Qualifications

• BS degree with 5 years of experience in operations process improvement associated
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, work in a multifaceted, fluid environment and optimally cope with change
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus the ability to communicate with a wide range of people.
• Demonstrate a strong aptitude for leadership, interpersonal skills, personnel development and training
• Ability to work within a matrix organization including field operations, regional staff, LOB support functions, and Global Operational Excellence Center of Excellence
• Track record of being able to influence others without formal authority
• Project a high level of maturity and leadership skills
• Possess strong Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills
• A self-starter able to work effectively with limited supervision
• Manages projects to meet objective, budget and timeline goals
