We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicate individual to come and join our Aramark UK team as a field HR Advisor – to provide a first-class service to the Business and Industry sector of our business.
So who are we? In a nutshell, Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients all across the UK, including within Defence and Judicial, private industry and more recently, theme parks! But with this role operating within our B&I sector – we want you to think diversity within the B&I sector to enhance the new meaning of hospitality. B&I is an exciting and ever-changing part of our business – with our current clients being predominantly based within the UK Business & Industry sector which is growing in its portfolio. As a result of this, you would be perfect for this role if……
You have experience with TUPE
You understand the diversities of the B&I industry
You have a broad knowledge of other associated complexities that may come with operating in this sector such as Local Government contracts, Trade Union activities (experience in these aren’t essential – knowing the basics though would be ideal)
You understand the priorities and key challenges for teams who operate within this specific sector
As we are contract caterers, we are continuously bidding for new business and re-bidding for existing business, so TUPE and change management experience is a must!
Needless to say, operating as a field HR Advisor the main remit of your role will be to support, advise and coach our Managers in the effective management of their own people and teams. This could look like supporting with the standard ER related processes such as a disciplinaries, grievances, absence and capability but more importantly, to focus on how we can guide our Managers on taking informal, personalised and pro-active approaches to their people.
Within Aramark, HR is viewed as a value adding and strategic function – versus as firefighters, administrators and “personnel.”

You will have a full support infrastructure to lean on – from centralised recruitment, Learning and Development, a dedicated HR Shared Services and payroll team and of course, your very own field HR/recruitment colleagues
You will report directly into the HR Business Partner for the sector (Shara Beaton) who in turn reports into our notorious HR Director – Emma Robson (feel free to have a nosey on LinkedIn)

Finally – just a bit of the small print. As this is a field role, your base location will be from home however, there will be an expectation to get out in the business and onto our key client sites across the breadth of the UK in order to build those key stakeholder relationships and be visible, therefore a driver’s license will be required. This is a very autonomous and flexible role however so the individual will have sole responsibility and accountability for how they manage their time. As long as we continue to provide a first-class service to the business – that is all that matters – how you deliver that is down to you.
