Job Description

The Marketing Specialist will assist Guest Experience Manager in planning and executing events and promotions designed to excite and educate our guest about the Harvest Table dining program.

The Digital Marketing Specialist should have a strong visual eye and have the ability to create appealing digital marketing collateral to aid in promoting events and meal plan sales, while maintaining company brand promises and style.

Job Responsibilities

Engages with clients and guests with a positive and welcoming attitude, utilizing the Y.E.S. commitment with each interaction.

• Knows and understands Harvest Table Effect and implementing throughout the marketing program across campus.
• Escalates guest concerns to a manager when appropriate.
• Communicates and interacts in a professional manner at all times.
• Aid in the planning and executing a full calendar of marketing events.
• Take creative lead in designing and maintaining a variety of signage, both physical and digital, around campus to promote events and encourage meal plan sales.
• Create engaging chalkboard and other artistic signage to promote sales and generate excitement for new menu items.
• Perform general office duties, such as preparing weekly social media and analytic s and assist in generating marketing proposals.
• Assist in driving revenue at multiple dining locations by planning promotions and engaging students.
• Build photography inventory daily.
• Create engaging content for website design and website maintenance.
• Work to improve brand presence on all campus dining social media platforms.
• Stay up to date with digital media technology and trends.
• Assists in executing large-scale events and promotions

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or relevant field
• Strong visual eye
• Ability to work on multiple tasks at once
• 1-2 years professional experience using design software, such as Adobe Illustrator,

InDesign, Acrobat, Canva, and Photoshop

• Calligraphy and chalk-art experience
• Knowledge of website designers, such as WordPress and Squarespace
• Familiarity with a wide variety of social media platforms
• Experience in SEO (search engine optimization)
• Experience in photography, videography and editing
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge and love of food is a plus!
• Excellent oral communication skills required

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and / or extended walking and standing.

This role may also require uniforms and / or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
