6-month FTC
Osterley – Hyrbid Model – 2/3 days a week in the office
£361.75 a day – PAYE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on E2E Test & Trial manager to lead the strategy and implementation of end-to-end integration tests, technical trials, and customer trials of the company’s most significant and high-profile delivery initiatives over the coming years.
You will test and trial the end-to-end functionality of multiple software, hardware, and engineering teams in production & non-production environments, building collaborative and trusting relationships with all those teams and pragmatically managing defects to ensure high-quality product launches.
Your key responsibilities/We will want you to:
- Define and implement E2E Test and Trial strategies for new, large-scale projects within the portfolio of projects being delivered by the team, using high-level architecture for the initiative and technology operating model.
- Define and lead technical Trials in production environments with real customers, working with resources from Operations, Product, and Tech teams to ensure we are ready to launch the new products/services
- Plan and implement technical trials: define & verify trial scenarios, coordinate technology teams, manage trialists & feedback mechanisms, manage defects & retesting, provide concise program updates, collate reports, and perform root cause analysis.
- Provide structure and guidance to the test and trial elements of the project and be the calm voice of reason within the delivery to ensure the focus is on the key priorities. Take ownership of the progression and project management of releases, test cases, and defect fixes.
- Lead the E2E test phase of program increments, working with test resources from the different delivery teams to ensure all integration defects are found and resolved
- Build strong and collaborative relationships across the business, operational, and delivery areas and be seen as a trusted delivery resource. Our team works across the end-to-end delivery of projects and you will be required to manage cross-functional teams to ensure the testing is successfully delivered.
- Innovate to continuously improve e2e test & trial best practices both within the team and externally within the company.

- Pragmatic and delivery-oriented mindset, with a track record of having led and facilitated end-to-end tests & trials on very large cross-enterprise initiatives within the following domains: Mobile Core, Broadband Core & Access Networks, IP-based Telephony, TV, Streaming, OTT, Business Communications, CPE, Digital.
- Trial management experience, having planned and implement technical trials: define & verify trial scenarios, coordinate technology teams, manage trialists & feedback mechanisms, manage defects & retesting, provide concise program updates, collate reports, and perform root cause analysis.
- Programme/Project management experience: formulating and tracking plans and dependencies; managing stakeholders and status updates to program/director level.
- Technical acumen: Taken ownership of the progression and project management of releases, test cases, and defect fixes that have dependencies across multiple software, hardware, and network engineering delivery teams.
- You will have vision, drive, diplomacy, and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity, and multiple stakeholders, being able to influence others without direct authority.
- Comfortable working in an incremental delivery methodology, defining risk-based test/trial strategy & test/trial plans for overall program and for each program increment
- Excellent testing, UAT, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management at the Senior Exec level, be able to communicate and translate technical messages into succinct key updates to the wider executive teams
- Confident presentation skills to large audiences of varying seniority and be able to get your message across clearly and succinctly
