Job Description:
The Project Manager role is for our in-house agency. We are a creative collective built exclusively to support the business and the brand. Our sole purpose is to create meaning, influence choice, and motivate change through brand expression.
The Project Manager 2 manages all aspects of a project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget. The Project Manager 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
To be successful in this role, you should also have experience managing mid-to-large scale projects with both Agile and Waterfall Project Management methodologies. Ultimately you are an activator who can build confidence and trust with the team, and our marketing partners.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, communicates, and implements an operational plan with schedules, resources, and budget to complete a project
• Monitors progress and performance against the project plan and takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays
• Conducts meetings and prepare s to communicate the status of the project
• Sets priorities, allocates tasks, and coordinates project staff to meet project targets and milestones
• Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas
• Lead implementation of specific agency projects and milestones ensuring work is done on brand and on time
• Communicate changes and updates on projects to the Hive creative team and marketing partners
Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with Waterfall and/or Agile Project Management Methodology
• Able to prepare and provide project presentations during meetings with Senior Management
• Previous experience in project management and writing requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Prior experience managing mid to large scale projects
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong Proficiency on MS Project, Visio, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Able to meet deadline, work with tight schedules and manage multiple priorities under minimum supervision
• Experience in marketing or advertising field
Ideal Candidate:
• Prior work history in a fast paced environment
• Experience in the Health Care/Insurance Industry
• PMP and/or Six Sigma Certifications a plus
