Aquatots Hiring for Finance Manager Job at Croydon, England Full Time

Aquatots is the largest independent child swimming company in the UK and has been leading the industry since 1997.

As our team and business continues to grow, we now have a vacancy based within our South Croydon head office for a professional and approachable Finance Manager.

Based working partly from home and in the office when required, it is likely that you will have experience in a similar role, hold CIMA or ACCA and be keen to manage all areas of accounting responsibilities from basic duties right up to and including the production of management accounts/ end of year accounts.

Our Finance Manager will also have worked on XERO and have extensive knowledge of Excel.

Working within our motivated and fast paced team you will have the opportunity to help improve processes for the long-term benefit of the company. Enjoy an annual salary of £46k and company bonuses which can add around £2k extra each year as well as flexible working from home and office. The post holder can choose to be self-employed or PAYE.

Duties will include

· Maintaining the company financial Xero records

· Processing purchase ledger invoices and credit notes

· Producing sales ledger invoices, credit notes and providing debt summary

· Process accruals, prepayments and deferred income

· Processing accruals and prepayments

· Liaise with the Company payroll provider, Harper Sheldon, processing payroll journals on Xero from reports

· Recording all bank and credit card transactions on Xero

· Bank and credit card reconciliations

· Reconciliation of all balance sheet control accounts

· Producing monthly management accounts

· Supplier payments

· Managing cashflow and a variety of bank accounts.

· Reviewing, authorising and paying expenses

· Work within Company management team set budgets and provide feedback performance reports

· Working with the Aquatots Ltd, LLP and Aquatots International accountants to produce year-end accounts

· Review accounting systems and implement changes with the agreement of the directors.
