Staff Accountant with a $1B+ health care technology company.


Summary

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions including month, quarter and year end consolidations, close, and financial reporting and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial discrepancies by analyzing account information
• Consolidate and analyze financial statements and results, supports budgeting and forecasting teams
• Facilitate and complete monthly, quarterly and annual close procedures
• Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
• Participate in external and internal audits
• Analyze financial data to determine risks and create forecasts
• Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA strongly preferred
• Proven experience as a Corporate Accountant
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions workstreams a plus
• In-depth experience in risk analysis, and reporting
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software
• An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent communication skills
• Keen eye for detail
• Organizational and leadership skills
