Aptive Hiring for Search Engine Marketing Specialist Full Time

Job Summary:Aptive is seeking a Paid Search/SEM specialist, who can manage several paid search campaigns simultaneously, to help achieve customers’ goals. They should be well versed in Google’s ads suite and have a good aptitude for how search engine marketing can fit within other marketing channels. This role is a balance between strategy and execution, and both helps to manage the larger campaign goals while also handling the day to day pacing and optimizations. The role includes building out keyword lists, working on bidding and optimizing to specific conversions as well as managing specific paid search budgets.
This full-time position is remote, but will have the option to work on-site at Aptive in Alexandria, Virginia.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Meeting with the design, writing, and marketing teams to ideate and define advertising requirements.
• Conduct market research on keywords, consumer trends, and competing brands.
• Analyzing and interpreting research and analytic data to inform the marketing strategy.
• Designing and developing online marketing campaigns to maximize search engine returns and website traffic.
• Implementing PPC advertising campaigns and SEO best practices.
• Monitoring SEM analytics such as redirects, click rates, and customer acquisition rates.
• Managing and adjusting PPC budgets to ensure maximum efficiencies.
• Generating performance s and analytics for presentation and review.
• Keeping up to date with the latest advancements in search trends, PPC strategies, and SEO best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or similar.
• A minimum of four years of experience as an SEM specialist or similar.
• Proficiency with analytics and PPC platforms such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Microsoft Bing and SA360.
• Strong understanding of SEM techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with other Google products, and understanding of how search fits into the marketing landscape.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• DSP buying experience (Centro/Basis preferred).
• Management of paid social campaigns using Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads and other social channels.
• Working knowledge of ad serving tools (Google Campaign Manager)
• Knowledge of traditional media such as OOH, TV & Radio a plus.
• Working understanding of Google Tag Manager, use of Ad tags, event tracking and conversion optimization.
• Experience running Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns through Google and Bing
• Experience with emerging digital media including digital audio streaming and connected TV.
• Established relationships with vendors and a proven track record of receiving added value on purchases.
• Mastery of web analytics tools, such as Google Analytics.
• Exceptional analytical, data interpretation, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues; desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
• Capable self-starter with a drive to get all types of work done and high attention to detail.
