Description

As part of our rapidly growing product team we are looking for an experienced and motivated software tester to join our product division on a suite of new and existing B2B platforms. You will help the team drive quality into the products you produce.

You will be part of a small but experienced team who with a goal to expand team meaning there is scope to influence, bring new ideas and have a real impact. You will need to be; passionate about what you do, have an eye for detail and be a self-starter that can take responsibility. We are looking for someone with a passion for technology and the web, someone who enjoys working with the latest designs and technologies along with a foundation in and respect for stable and mature technologies.

Responsibilities

Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility

Collaborate closely with other team members and departments

Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression and User Interface)

Design and develop automation scripts when needed

Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies

Provide timely solutions

Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle

Provide support and documentation

Entry requirements

• 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)

Personal Qualities:
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

Team player

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Skills Required:
Understand software requirements and translate to test scripts

Some basic programming knowledge

Able to produce documentation

Understanding of websites and how the web works

Write software tests to appropriate level.
