Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Logistics Technician located at WPAFB, OH. The Logistic Technician’s primary function will be to provide support to assist in the daily materials procurement of required assets necessary to complete a variety of NASIC missions while supporting NASIC LG.

Responsibilities include :

• Provide support to assist in the daily materials procurement of required assets necessary to complete a variety of NASIC missions
• Provide appropriate recommendations for unresolved or questionable logistics problems and perform follow-up on daily tasks to include researching and recommending appropriate actions or interpretation of issues that impact the organization, command, or US Air Force
• Perform Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Service (DLADS) research procedures for NASIC to ensure compliance with the host base and US Air Force applicable regulations while providing feedback to the NASIC workforce to ensure standards
• Assist in the proper classification of DLADS assets and recommend proper disposition, ultimately performing the administrative function of creating DLA disposition documentation
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Technical Experience Requirements :

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Minimum Education / Experience : Completion of an Associate’s Degree OR
• Minimum Experience : 10 years of logistics support experience in the areas of supply and material management research, tracking and procurement procedures, transportation regulation compliance and support agreement concepts
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance
• Must Possess Demonstrated knowledge in the following :
• US Air Force logistics processes and regulations
• DLA processes, practices, and policies
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in Forklift, material handling equipment (manual / electric pallet jacks) or ability to obtain license if not current
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
