Appleton Finn Hiring for Vice President of Global Sales at New York City Metropolitan Area Full Time

Appleton Finn is partnered with an exciting start-up luxury fashion brand known for its commitment to quality, and innovation. The Brand has shown strong growth through d2c wholesale and retail channels and is now looking to expand onto a more global stage. We are searching for someone to be at the forefront of driving this initiative by building and maintaining key relationships and expanding market share within the luxury fashion space.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive global sales strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives.
• Provide strong leadership to the global sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
• Leverage existing retail connections in the luxury fashion space to enhance brand presence and drive sales.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners, department stores, and boutiques globally.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand the company’s market presence.
• Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings.
• Implement robust sales forecasting processes and regularly on sales performance to the executive leadership team.
• Analyse sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures.
• The role requires frequent travel to key markets and retail locations globally EU and APAC to strengthen relationships, understand market dynamics, and drive sales initiatives.

Qualifications:

• +10 years’ experience working within the luxury retail space.
• Proven track record of success in global sales leadership roles within the luxury fashion and accessories industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
• Established retail connections and relationships with key players in the luxury fashion space (Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Harrods, El Corte Ingles.. etc).
• Ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse team across the globe.
• Willingness to travel extensively as required. Expect to travel to Europe as well as HK and Singapore.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
