Immediate need for a Logistics Manager seeking to work for a growing, dynamic organization in the Food and Beverage Industry

Daily Responsibilities :

• Recommend the hiring, discipline, and termination of employees.
• Maintains Logistics operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, personnel policies and procedures, and safety.
• Assists in the management of all warehouse employees to ensure all employees are meeting job level expectations and requirements
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Oversees and manages daily operations, including working with Logistics Supervisor to plan daily workloads (staffing, workspace forecast, and allocation), ensuring efficient and adequate flow of goods.
• Reviews various logs, s, and records for accuracy and compliance
• Assists in overseeing and managing Receiving, Shipping, Inventory (including FEFO), Imports / Exports, and Housekeeping.
• Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
• Order and issue PO’s for needed items

Assists with invoice approvals and submissions.

Assists with preparing and developing the annual budget for the warehouse.

Skills and Experience :

• Previous warehouse management experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory control, Reconciliation and materials management in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution center environment (Import / Export).
• Intermediate computer skills, Microsoft Office, ERP systems.
• Experience with inventory management systems and eCommerce platforms.
