Apple Primary Tuition is a small, independently run, private tuition provider. Every learner is unique and we pride ourselves on our personalised approach to tutoring, with student’s interests and needs driving the sessions. Due to an ever-increasing number of enquiries, we are looking to expand our tutoring capacity to welcome an adaptable and enthusiastic teacher, with a passion for inspiring students, to the Apple Primary Tuition team.

Teaching takes place online, with personalisation, interactivity and fun paramount to every session. We are looking for a tutor with excellent primary subject knowledge, particularly in KS2, who has a love of teaching and the desire to help students reach their full potential. Tutors earn between £20 – £25 per hour, depending on experience, and are paid on a monthly basis.

You must have:

A passion for teaching
QTS
Experience of teaching KS2 or 11+

Excellent organisational skills
Good ICT skills

Responsibilities

· Planning and delivering each online session

· Providing personalised and engaging sessions which meet students’ needs and advance their learning

· Giving feedback after each session to the parent / carer

Please note, you must be able to commit to:

· 1 hour (minimum) each week to deliver sessions

· After-school or weekend sessions

· Being flexible as to when sessions can take place

· Planning in your own time
