Partner Engineering Manager, Video EngineeringCulver City,California,United StatesSoftware and Services+ 10+ years experience in video technology as an architect, engineer or technical product manager with focus on partner integrations+ 5+ years experience in design, implementation, and management of data stores and data pipelines+ 5+ years experience integrating complicated video workflows with partners+ Knowledge of and ability to influence technology decisions regarding video playback technologies, Digital Rights Management, HTTP Live Streaming, video acquisition and distribution, measurement, analytics, and ing capabilities+ Experience managing and leading a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment+ Confirmed experience sharing and presenting information to different audiences across an organization Description Collaborate with video partners to ensure they can seamlessly integration into the Apple live video platform with successful integrations – Coordinate with business, product and legal teams to ensure projects meet the requirements of the business.

• Lead integrations with partners, consistent with Apple’s standards & practices, SLA, privacy laws and regulations. – Represent Apple’s requirements and work with vendors to formulate and implement solutions to use technologies, integrate outside technologies with Apple’s platform – Partnering with Video Operations and Engineering teams to implement tools for coordinating video integrations for consistent playback, stream switching, measurement, and overall user experience.
• Share knowledge of video technology through brainstorms, presentations, documentation, and providing counsel on various initiatives as needed.
• Hire, onboard, and lead an engineering team supporting technical partner and vendor management, as well as the development and evolution of Apple’s video live video platform Education & Experience Bachelors, Masters, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, Video Delivery, Information Technology, or related field.
