Apple is searching for a highly motivated and detail oriented candidates with a strong hands-on experience in electro-optical test/metrology and data analysis. As an individual contributor, you will work closely with senior engineers on the electro-optical testing of semiconductor devices, the development of test protocol, and data analysis.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in semiconductor device test, instrumentation and/or reliability engineering.
  • Experience with optical and electrical characterization and metrology.
  • Experience with data processing and analysis using JMP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and people skills are required.
  • Preferred requirements
  • Proficiency in statistics, correlation analysis and GR&R.
  • Experience with writing and reading Python scripts, as well as data analysis using Python Pandas.

Description

Perform a wide variety of detailed optical and electrical characterization on optoelectronic devices for display application. Optical and electrical test set-up, implementation and calibration. This involves collaboration with software/hardware engineers as well as vendors. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for testing processes and provide training to technicians. Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipments to ensure the validity of test results and maximize test throughput. Analyze and summarize test results and present in cross-functional forums.

Education & Experience

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $43.02 and $75.48/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
