The iCloud Mail team is looking for a client engineer with expertise in Web, iOS and/or macOS development . The successful candidate is highly motivated individual with strong technical skills to create intuitive user experiences, passionate about quality, and has a keen eye for details that surprise and delight our customers. You will be collaborating with engineering teams throughout Apple to define and build customer facing apps/frameworks powered by iCloud services.
Key Qualifications
- Experience building pixel-perfect, robust, complex, and accessible user interfaces and applications for iOS or MacOS in Objective-C or Swift.
- Experience with Single Page Web Application Development in Typescript/ES6 using frameworks such as React.
- Experience defining and integrating with Web Service APIs.
- Enthusiastic about quality, design, and user experience.
- Inquisitive and highly-motivated self-starter and problem solver with a drive to integrate, communicate, and work well with large projects and teams.
- Dedicated to learning, as well as sharing new ideas.
Description
This is a hands-on role for developing and supporting new and existing features. This role requires working closely with cross-functional teams to effectively coordinate the complex interdependencies inherent in this role. Your work will involve everything from high-level UI development to working at different levels of the stack in order to pull off result-oriented features. You should feel comfortable moving fluidly from network programming to framework and application development. You’ll be maintaining and improving not just our features, but also their supporting frameworks and system services. You’ll also be responsible for debugging and delivering the best possible application performance and adopting the best testing practices to help you find and fix bugs early. Education & Experience
