As a Leadership Sourcer you are responsible for the initial research and first engagement with leadership/executive candidates to support the leadership hiring needs within our Stores organization in EMEIA. In this specific role you will primarily focus on sourcing and attracting external leadership candidates for our Italian & UK markets. Leadership Sourcer reports into the Senior Manager of Leadership Recruiting. Your role is to primarily focus on external candidate research and engagement, however you may support internal talent movements and initiatives, when needed. Success in your role will be demonstrated by the level of partnership you bring to your Retail Recruiting peers, by the quality and quantity of candidates which meet the requirements of the business, and by your ability to support Retail’s evolution and needs by generating a pipeline of valid talent for our future. As a Sourcer, you are a critical partner and relationship builder, who enables Retail Recruiting’s desire to build deeper connections across our global communities, by inspiring some of the world’s best talent to consider the opportunities within our Retail community.
Key Qualifications
- Prior recruiting or sourcing experience in high-end speciality or big-box retailing is ideal
- Deep understanding of markets and talent trends
- Proven success in implementing People initiatives, recruiting tools, and search processes
- Passion for delivering results in a team-based culture
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Work in home-office in UK
Description
In your role as Sourcer, you achieve performance and results through a number of responsibilities, including: • You think strategically, and act proactively to fill current needs as well as understand the value in building a pipeline for future opportunities • You have great agility and flexibility in your capacity to support multiple priorities at once • You partner closely with Recruiting leaders in the Markets, to maintain clear understanding of all current and potential vacancies • You position authentic and innovative sourcing strategies, aligned with specific needs of each market • You provide competency based screening against success criteria identified for retail roles/needs • You build talent pipeline through recruiting, networking, and calling with candidates, including research and networking skills across social groups, data mining and calling candidates unprompted • You build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, and provide consistent and specific measurables, to foster trust and accountability • You take initiative to leverage all resources to unearth the very best talent for each role, and for Apple • You work expertly using candidate database tools and processes to ensure productivity • You lean into challenges and opportunities for improvements by leveraging new innovations and technologies in the Sourcing function • You pursue completion of each role vacancy, including difficult or challenging searches • You sustain strong market awareness through ongoing learning from, and connection with, retail staffing industry • You establish a network to support ability to present candidates quickly into the pipeline • You leverage strong organizational and communication skills to flex to multiples needs and people • You understand and follow HR guidelines and principles as they pertain to recruiting and hiring • You support strong relationship development between potential candidates and Apple partners
