Apple Media Products Analytics Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer to help building tools that power insights into how our customers use some of the world’s most popular media services – App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Podcasts, Apple Book Store and more.
Key Qualifications
- Relational databases
- Experience building Micro-services and REST APIs
- Experience with analytical databases (Druid, Cassandra, Vertica, MemSQL)
- Strong understanding and knowledge of data structures and algorithms
- Good work dynamics with UI teams in gathering requirements to implement new API endpoints
Description
We at the Apple Media Products Analytics Engineering team are responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting on insights derived from user and device generated data from Apple’s media services – Apple Music, App Store, etc. Reporting is a key part of this process and it’s the interface that allows teams at Apple to get insights and make important decisions on their day to day activities. You will be working on a platform that displays rich visualisations driven by data. In this role, you are expected to work together with a UI team maintaining and implementing API endpoints used by the user interface. The following requirements are not required but advantageous to candidates: Full stack experience Good understanding of Javascript Knowledge of Javascript libraries / frameworks such as React or Angular

BSc or equivalent in Computer science or relevant work experience
