A Day in the Life:
As the first official member of the Finance team with Apollo, your role as our Financial Analyst will be a busy, but exciting one with lots of room for growth. You’ll have a great support system as you work to develop effective financial models, support with building forecasts, take the lead on pricing initiatives for new products, and much more. The team will also rely on you to perform risk assessments and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and COO on a regular basis.

What are the core functions of this role? Here’s a start:
Building pricing models, financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements as requested

Presenting regular updates and reports to the executive team regarding our accounts, cash burn and important industry changes

Critically reviewing operational costs and determine where cuts or reallocation of budgets are necessary

Supporting executives in managing their department budgets and constructively challenge discretionary spending that seems out of alignment with company goals

Working with CTO to apply for relevant grants or funding opportunities

What Makes you a good fit:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business finance (CPA or CPA Candidate is a bonus)

3+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role

Knowledge of accounting principles and standards

Comfortable running cost-benefit analyses

Experience with financial planning and accounting programs such as Quickbooks

Ability to recognize potential financial challenges in advance and proactively develop effective solutions

Confidence in your ability to make profitable financial decisions

Strong understanding of Conflict of Interest and legal compliance standards

High sense of integrity

Effective communicator, comfortable explaining concepts, potential issues and solutions, and financial models to less finance-minded team members

Very organized and strong attention to detail

Expert problem-solver willing to roll up their sleeves
