Role & Key Responsibilities:
To complete financial and management accounting duties for the group and its subsidiary entities. As well assist with budget, reforecasts and adhoc financial and business analysis as required.
The role duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Preparing accounting journals and posting entries to the general ledger
• Preparing bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with month end close
• Assurance for billing and revenue recognition in line with legal contracts
• Using business systems to accurately identity and calculate investor, transaction, NAV, pension and accumulation member numbers and transactions for revenue recognition
• Analysing accounting records and providing ad hoc reconciliations, analysis and commentary
• Assist with accounting functions across the team including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll as needed
• Process enhancement and documentation
• Ad hoc projects and duties as and when they arise
• Assisting with the annual budget collation and interim reforecast process as required
• Working with management to identify and deliver on projects;

Proven Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree qualified in an accounting discipline
• Either completed or willingness to complete CPA / CA qualification
• Exposure in accounting packages
• Proficiency in MS office (predominantly Excel)
