APEX Engineering, Inc Hiring for Electrical Engineer, P.E. Full Time

Electrical engineer wanted to work for a multi-discipline design and consulting firm. Design for power plants, industrial utility systems and commercial power systems, distributed power generation, renewable power systems, and gas and oil systems.

* PE license required

* Capable of 10-15% travel time

* Strong communication skills, interpersonal abilities and a willingness to work in a team environment.

* Ability to oversee projects, project scopes, schedules and budgets.

Experience Requirements:

* Proficiency in AutoCAD

* Electrical analysis, lighting design and energy modeling software

* Specification and evaluation of electrical equipment, including motor control centers, drawout switchgear, VFD’s, emergency or standby generators, inverters, MCCS, generators, lighting, transformers and more

* One-line diagrams and P & IDs for industrial process

* Familiarity with applicable codes, such as the National Electric Code, IESNA, NFPA and IEEE

Educational Requirements

BSEE or BSET

PE license required
