Apex Animal Hospital Hiring for VETERINARY ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN at Helena, MT Full Time

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN/ASSISTANT, with clinical experience is needed full time for a busy 4 doctor practice in Helena.

The right candidate will have Veterinary Technician/Assistant experience. They will have strong verbal and written communication skills, be enthusiastic, reliable, detail-oriented, and interested in learning. Technicians are utilized to their fullest abilities so our doctors can focus on patient/client care.

Our Technicians are responsible for carrying out the Veterinarian’s instructions, assisting in exam rooms and surgery, managing their time, communicating with the team and with our clients. Patient care, IV catheters, anesthesia, pharmacology, radiology, dentistry, surgery, and lab.

Pay is based on experience. Hours are 40 hours per week; Emergency on call rotation, Saturdays and holidays.

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Veterinary Technicians: 1 year (Preferred)
