Apex Aluminum Extrusions Ltd. is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory located in Langley, British Columbia. Production of aluminum profiles began in early 2011, making Apex the most recent addition to the aluminum extrusion market. This position is a full-time position with generous overtime during our busy periods.
We are actively seeking next level players to join our team and are currently hiring for a Customer Service Representative for our manufacturing facility.
PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing customer service to our customers, a reliable resource for our outside sales representatives, as well as supporting our administration department.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Interacting with customers, stakeholders and operations personnel via telephone, e-mails & face-to-face
Contacting customers for additional information, to verify orders and for follow up
Understanding customer needs and Apex’s capabilities and reduce potential limitations.
Assisting with Administrative Tasks which include but aren’t limited to scanning documents, arranging couriers, receiving of Billets
Becoming a power user for Epics (ERP System) in regards to order entry and other related tasks
Work with Apex sales, production, and shipping personnel to understand and to meet customer needs
Conversant in customer service from order entry/customer support
Strong acumen in decision making and multitasking skills
Attention to detail with excellent team and time management skills
Strong computer skills (Email, Word & Excel)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively on the telephone, via e-mail and in person with all stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills is essential to this role
Ability to problem solve and prioritize in a dynamic environment with multiple changing priorities
Must have excellent time management skills
Detail-oriented with strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
The ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
Dynamic personality with an ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to changing requirements
Self-motivated, resourceful and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Highly skilled in computer software and applications
Technical knowledge in regards to doing calculations in both metric and imperial units
Strong team player with emphasis on urgency to complete projects

2+ years of experience in a B2B customer service environment
