This position is a full-time position with generous overtime during our busy periods.

The Key Responsibilities for this energetic and committed individual will be to perform a variety of tasks in a production environment within our Quality Department. Forklift experience is definitely considered an asset. Rotational shift work will be required.

We are actively seeking next level players to join our team and are currently hiring for a Quality Inspector for our manufacturing facility.

The Position:
The role of a Quality Control Inspector is to monitor the quality of in process (packaging) and outgoing (shipping) products, to conduct visual inspection in accordance with APEX Quality Standards, to oversee production processes for conformance to procedures, and to determine any needs for corrective actions in the production process ON THE SPOT. You possess a trained eye for detail, will be reliable and committed, and will be a firm advocate of quality in our business. This job has night and day shift available on rotational basis of 12 hours. (Continental Shift)

Knowledge and Skills:
Good communication both written and verbal

Excellent organizational skills

Working knowledge of MS Office

Basic understanding of metrology

Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or within a team environment at all levels of employees

Duties include but are not limited to:
Perform visual inspection in accordance with APEX Quality Standards using TracePlus software

Maintain records of inspections

Work with production team and ensures production processes and parameters meet specifications

Audit of production procedures to ensure their conformance and effectiveness of our standards are met.

Audit TracePlus Database from previous shifts

Audit the packaging against the customer approved packaging drawings.

Investigate all product on hold, to ensure released in a shift basis

Utilize Epics software as needed

Initiate RMA rework in packaging

Collect samples for mechanical properties out of racks per order

Have a mechanical skill to work with hand tools and basic equipment

Qualifications

Minimum 1+ years of proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role within the manufacturing industry

A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach

Responsible and trustworthy

Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems

Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
