Apex Aluminum Extrusions Hiring for Customer Service Representative – Day Shift at Langley, BC Full Time

Apex Aluminum Extrusions Ltd. is a state-of-the-art aluminum extrusion factory located in Langley, British Columbia. With a 170,000 square foot facility and some of the most modern equipment in its industry, we believe in the extensive use of technology and in the ongoing investment and development of our processes and people.

PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative/Order Entry will be responsible for providing customer service and providing a reliable resource for our outside sales representatives, as well as supporting our administration department.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Interacting with customers, stakeholders and operations personnel via telephone, e-mails & face-to-face

Processing purchase orders

Create, modify and enter quotations, orders, customers and parts

Contacting customers for additional information, to verify orders and for follow up

Assisting with Administrative Tasks which include but aren’t limited to scanning documents, arranging couriers, receiving of Billets

Becoming trained on Epics (ERP System) in regards to order entry and other related tasks

Other duties, as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Ability to problem solve and prioritize in an environment with multiple changing priorities

An ability to learn quickly, be proactive and adapt to changing requirements

Strong team player with emphasis on urgency to complete projects

QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of experience in a B2B customer service environment

Intermediate Computer Skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)
